Healing Program

A quiet space for reflection, connection, and conversation

Pawsitive Beginnings offers an animal-assisted healing program in Key Largo for individuals, therapists, schools, nonprofits, and community groups seeking a thoughtful, supportive environment. The program uses the foxes' stories and presence to encourage conversations around trust, boundaries, resilience, recovery, and care.

A Respectful Approach

Observation, reflection, and guided conversation

The foxes are sanctuary animals, not therapy animals. Their wellbeing and routines always come first. Rather than direct interaction or performance-based experiences, the program focuses on observation, guided conversation, education, and quiet reflection in a calm sanctuary setting. Some participants connect with the foxes' stories in ways that make difficult conversations feel more approachable and less pressured.

Animal Welfare First

A setting that protects both people and foxes

The sanctuary environment is designed to prioritize both participant comfort and animal welfare. Foxes are never forced into interaction, and participants are never pressured to share more than they are comfortable sharing. The goal is to create a calm, respectful setting where meaningful conversations can happen naturally.
